Subject: Grad Stats Course: SOIL 7250 T02 Non-traditional Quantitative Techniques

Hi all,

We have a few more spots left. In this applied stats course, students get to work with data from their current thesis research or another study. Those who do not yet have data to work with may work on an analysis plan for their future data, in addition to experimental design and treatment layout of their planned thesis research. Students are expected to have a good background in statistics, preferably at the graduate level. Typically, students who take this course will have taken ANSC 7500 Methodology in Agricultural and Food Sciences, or an equivalent, although this in not a requirement. Knowledge of SAS will be an asset, but not a requirement.

Attached is an outline from Fall 2021. This may change to reflect the specific needs of students registered for the course.

If you have any questions, send me an email.

Thanks,

Francis
