INDIGENOUS ORGANIZATION AND CONFLICT IN CAUCA, COLOMBIA: THE CASE OF THE INDIGENOUS REGIONAL COUNCIL OF CAUCA (CRIC)

This event will involve a visiting delegation of Colombian Indigenous leaders. A representative from the group will present on the history of struggle and organization of the Nasa people of Cauca, Colombia, in particular in relation to the Consejo Regional Indígena del Cauca (CRIC). They will also discuss the Plan de Vida-Proyecto Nasa, which is their regional plan for autonomy and development.
