Good point, Julie. The Americans do seem to insist on celebrating Thanksgiving a month and a half late, so I guess we have to deal with it. I’m happy with meeting on 1 December. If this date represents a different unforeseen conflict, please let us know as soon as possible! Otherwise… 1 December.-------- Original message --------From: James Naylor <Naylor@BrandonU.CA>Date: 2018-11-11 1:42 PM (GMT-06:00)To: 1919 conference organizing committee <1919-conference@lists.umanitoba.ca>Subject: Re: [1919-Conference] next meeting date- conflict

_______________________________________________Hello, All:I have just learned that the date of our next meeting, 24 November, is also U.S. Thanksgiving. Our U.S. based colleague will of course not be able to attend. Perhaps, given that this is a legitimate conflict and we wouldn’t schedule a meeting on a Canadian holiday, we could reschedule the meeting, perhaps to 1 December?julieJulie GuardProfessor, History and Labour StudiesOffice: 117 Isbister BuildingMailing address: 218 Isbister BuildingUniversity of Manitoba183 Dafoe RoadWinnipeg MB R3T 2N2Phone: 204-474-7110Email: julie.guard@umanitoba.caPlease note that as of 1 July 2018 I am no longer Labour Studies Coordinator
