Thanks, everyone!  As Jim mentioned, we have a number of key points to discuss to ensure our successful submission of the SSHRC application at the beginning of May.

If everyone could please come prepared with a list of organizations from whom we can get support (in-kind or financial), that is very important.  I’m thinking of/referring to those in each of our own networks - for example, I’m meeting with the CSULR today (its the AGM), and I’ll be looking to get a letter documenting their financial support (which they’ve already confirmed at a past board meeting).  We need to have confirmed at least 50% matching funds for SSHRC.  Jim and I will need this paperwork before the end of the month.  We will have more detailed info to share on this at the meeting; with this, we can all fan out to get confirmed support and letters.

All the best,

Thanks Jim.

I do not agree at all that these items could be decided upon via e-mail.

See you on Saturday.

As I mentioned before, I feel this is an important meeting. Also we established afternoon meetings since there are a couple of us who drive Brandon or Grand Forks. And, as previously, we could potentially meet on weekday afternoons in the summer.

I would be ok with that unless there’s a time in the week during the evening. To be honest, with spring (hopefully) on its way, it’s less likely many of us will be wanting to give up a Saturday afternoon.

Hi Everyone:
There a few regrets and it seems to me that it might be possible for us to address the matters on the agenda by email, thus freeing up everyone’s weekend. What do others think?
