The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Mount Allison University invites applications for a 9-month Instructorship in Spanish language, tenable for
3 years. This position comes with a 3-3 teaching load (Fall and Winter terms). The successful candidate will be expected to teach Spanish language courses and to contribute to the department’s activities in the form of service to the Spanish section and to
the department. The successful candidate will have an MA in Spanish or an equivalent qualification. Native or near-native fluency in Spanish is essential, as is experience teaching university-level Spanish language to non-native speakers. Familiarity with
a range of regional varieties of Spanish will be considered an asset. Candidates possessing or in active pursuit of a doctorate will not be considered, as per the collective agreement with the Mount Allison Faculty Association.
