Hello AE network,  I wanted to provide two timely announcements from Career Services…

 

  1. Alumni service policy change – As of May 1, 2026, UM alumni can access individual support for up to 1 year post-graduation (a change from the previous 6-month timeline).  This includes support with career planning, job search, resumé, and interview preparation.  Alumni will continue to have indefinite access to career workshops and events and the UMConnect job board. Alumni can register/create an alumni account on UMConnect or continue to utilize their UM student email login, if maintaining their UM e-mail access as an alum.

 

  1. Career Choices workshops for incoming students - Students can register via the webform/website below or call our office.  Additional dates will be added to the list, as needed.  This is a great session for students who are undecided about their program/major and is designed to support educational planning/a precursor to course selection.  Incoming and prospective students can also schedule individual appts and use our self-directed career planning resources, which includes free online assessments.
