Hello,

My term will be up as the Manitoba Liaison for NACADA Region 6 at the end of March 2024, and we are looking for someone else to take over for the 2024-2026 term!  I have served 2 consecutive 2-year terms, and it’s been a wonderful learning experience with a lot of professional development with some very motivated advisors across the region.

The time needed to be a part of the steering committee is very manageable, with there being a 1-hour virtual meeting once a month and some planning/goal-setting documents to review and contribute feedback to.  Region 6 is a great team, and I’d highly recommend that anyone who is interested in getting some more experience with committee work and some professional development consider this opportunity.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and/or if you’re interested in putting your name forward and I will get you in touch with our region chair for the next steps.

Take care,

Kristin
