Hi Folks,
Elfie Smith and I have created the following message for all students who may have been impacted by the disruption to registration over the last couple of days. We anticipate that University 1 students will be primarily impacted, due to
volume of U1 students registering over the last few days, but you may also see your own students who have been impacted. The RO will be the primary contact, but advisors can feel free to make changes in Banner to adjust and correct spanned course registration.
Hope all are doing well!

I am grateful to the Anishinaabeg, Ininewuk, Anisininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Dene, and the Red River Metis peoples, on whose home lands I live. I am also grateful to the people of Shoal Lake 40 in
Treaty 3 territory, whose water I drink.

This message is for all students with initial registration times on July 7, July 8 or July 9.
An issue with the Aurora Registration system during these dates resulted in a period where some students were unable to complete registration. In some cases, students were dropped from a course because of a time conflict but may not have
received notification. This issue has been resolved, but there is action you need to take now.
To ensure your registration includes all courses you’ve selected, please do the following to
review your registration:
For students registered in spanned courses (Fall and Winter):
If you only see one of the two sections (for example, you see the course in Fall, but not Winter), please call the Registrar’s Office, rather than trying to drop it and add it again. Doing so independently could result in further registration
challenges. Please call us at UM if this situation applies to you.
We’re so sorry for any concern this may have caused.
