We are pleased to announce that in May 2015, the learning management system, Desire2Learn, will be renamed to ‘UM Learn’. This change reflects and celebrates the commitment that the University of Manitoba is making in teaching and learning.

In addition, an important system refresh will coincide with the launch of the new look of UM Learn.  The refresh will retain the intuitive user interface while providing enhancements to the student experience.

The Centre for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning, The Division of Extended Education, Information Services & Technology, and Desire2Learn, Inc. have committed to continuing their strong partnership to help support the efforts to enhance teaching and learning at the University of Manitoba.

We are excited about UM Learn and look forward to the continued success that these learning technologies will provide!
