Message from Dr. Diane Hiebert-Murphy, Provost and Vice-President (Academic)
Dear UM Community,
Earlier this year at the UM Strategic Plan launch, we declared that one of our fundamental commitments is to “fostering a vibrant community.”
We want you to hear what it means to you.
That’s why, at the Office of Equity Transformation Town Hall on Nov. 6, we’ll be asking this question:
What makes UM a vibrant community for you?
Please join us to provide your input and to learn more about the work and accomplishments of the Office of Equity Transformation (OET).
This Town Hall will feature community members involved in building towards greater equity, anti-oppression, anti-racism, anti-ableism, diversity and inclusion at UM.
All faculty, staff, and students are welcome!
Come join us and:
This joyful event will celebrate the movement towards building individual and collective transformation! Join the conversation about the kind of university community we want to create together.
Please RSVP and

This hybrid event takes place in-person and will be live-streamed with closed captioning. The in-person event will also include ASL interpreters.
