Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required starting May 4

 

 

On May 4, multi-factor authentication (MFA) will be mandatory for all University of Manitoba students.

 

Action required:

IST anticipates an increase in requests for support leading up to May 4. You are encouraged to enrol  before the deadline to avoid any potential inconvenience.

 

You must enrol your account and add a device before the deadline to continue using a growing list of common UM applications. These include Microsoft365 (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.), UM Intranet, UM Zoom and Epic.

 

Self-enrol in Duo MFA today to avoid any disruption in your access to applications.

With Duo Mobile and Duo Push, there is no need to carry a bulky token or waste time manually entering passcodes. Just tap to authenticate right on your smartphone.
