Retirement Celebration for Sandra Dufour

Friday, May 16, 2025, 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm

After 25 years of working at the University of Manitoba, it is with mixed emotions that Sandra has decided to retire. Sandra started her career in Dentistry and moved over to join the Psychological Service Centre (PSC) support staff team in 2016 where she has been an integral member of the PSC team since. Sandra’s fierce work ethic, amazing organizational skills, warmth and enthusiasm for her job will make it hard to fill her shoes when she leaves.

We will be collecting contributions towards a retirement gift for Sandra. Anyone who wishes to contribute can stop by Andrea Labossiere’s office (164 Dafoe) at the Psychological Service Centre, or the Psychology General Office, P404 Duff. Contributions can also be made by e-transfers to:  Andrea.Labossiere@umanitoba.ca (password: retirement). Contribution deadline is May 9th, 2025.

There will also be a book available if you wish to leave a personal message for Sandra, which will be located in Andrea’s office (164 Dafoe) from Monday, April 14, 2025 to Friday, May 2, 2025, after which it will be available in the Psychology General Office (P404) until the party on May 16, 2025. If you are out of town, please feel free to send an email message for Sandra to Andrea.Labossiere@umanitoba.ca and we will print them out for her.
