http://safestates.org/displaycommon.cfm?an=1&subarticlenbr=263#BuiltEnvironmentHealthInjuries
The
Safe, Healthy, and Active Transportation Toolkit is comprised of
select resources [U.S.] designed to provide public health professionals
(particularly those in injury and violence prevention), planners, and
others with presentations, seminal articles, case studies, fact sheets,
and other sources of information that can be used to support and
advance Smart Growth, livability, and improved built environment
efforts. The goal of this toolkit is to provide resources and
evidence for those that want to reach out to their fellow colleagues in
the areas of transportation, land use, and public health to make a
stronger case for why health is a transportation issue.
