MANITOBA AND THE ACTIVE HEALTHY KIDS CANADA REPORT CARD: are we driving our kids to unhealthy habits?

The goal of the webinar is to introduce participants to the Active Healthy Kids Canada Report Card and give them information about what is ongoing in Manitoba towards achieving recommendations laid out in the report card.

The 2013 Active Healthy Kids Canada Report Card highlights the dramatic decline in active travel among children and the corresponding increased reliance on motorized transportation.  Join  Active Healthy Kids Canada CEO Jennifer Cowie Bonne and the 2013 Report Card Lead Writer, Joel Barnes, from the Healthy Active Living and Obesity Research Institute at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario to learn more about and discuss this year’s results.
