| The Manitoba
Health Research Poster Competition (June 7) for
graduate students is a great venue for students from
across the health spectrum (Animal Science to
zoologists... as broad as the CIHR mandate) to gain
practice in presentation, receive feedback from
experienced judges (awards of excellence are also
available), and network with students from across
the breadth of health research, both here and
nationally. The opportunities for networking are
broad, from social events (June 8) such as the
dinner cruise and tours... the broad-spectrum
symposia on “Epigenetics" and “Neuroscience and
Mental Health” (June 9) and meeting with CIHR
