UM STRIKE RELIEF FUND $1,000 for full-time studies and $500 for part-time studies · For Master's & PhD students Eligibility: Due to the strike, some students may be experiencing unexpected financial hardship. Some examples of requests for support that are a direct result of the strike could include: additional housing costs due to the extension of the fall term, additional housing costs due to a roommate leaving, resulting in a student having to pay extra rent, loss of wages, additional food costs over the holiday break due to the extension of the fall term, unexpected childcare expenses due to the extension of the fall term and unexpected flight arrangements/changes. MARGARET MCNAMARA EDUCATION GRANTS One-time grants of $15,000 · For Master's & PhD students Research Field(s): Unrestricted Description: The Margaret McNamara Education Grants (MMEG) award education grants to female full-time students from developing countries who are at least 25 years old and are studying full-time at universities in Canada and the United States.
