As you have probably heard, Dr. Doering has announced an increase to the GETS funding program.
In addition to increases in funding, we are pleased to announce an easier and more streamlined application process.
GETS
applications can now be completed online (no login required) with the ability to attach documents. The practice of accepting a hard copy of an application or a pdf via email will be discontinued
effectively immediately.
Please note that all new applications will be assessed with the increased amounts; the
guidelines have been updated to reflect increases). For Principle Investigators whom have already submitted an application and have not yet received a confirmation of funding email, please let me know via email if you would prefer that application be assessed
with the new cost sharing amounts.
I’m excited about the new online GETS application. It will help streamline funding requests, which
in turn benefits both the PI and student. With implementing the online application, I respectfully ask for your patience as I work through the adjustments and the new process.
