The Council on Post Secondary Education (COPSE), Advanced Education and Literacy (AEL) and Immigration and Multiculturalism (IAM) are undertaking an initiative titled: Foreign Qualification Recognition of Internationally Educated Professionals and Tradespeople in Manitoba. The funder of this initiative is the Foreign Credential Recognition (FCR) Program - Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC). The initiative is focused on: a) improved client service capacities for qualifications recognition; b) bridge programming in post-secondary institutions for internationally educated professionals/tradespeople and; c) skilled immigrants’ labour market integration.
The initiative is in need of a Project Coordinator for International Educated Professionals in Bridge Programming who has:
- Experience working with Immigrant populations, especially working with skilled immigrants;
- Project Management experience including working on complex projects, performance reporting, identification of success measures, and experience developing and evaluating projects and;
- Experience working with Post-Secondary Institutions similar to Manitoba.
The position term is from April 2013 to April 2015 (inclusive) with a salary of $4,000.00 per month for approximately 20 hours per week for the period of the term.
