FGS External Graduate Award Activation Form

Please use the FGS External Graduate Award Activation form to activate the payment of external awards, such as Manitoba Health Research Council Studentships if you have not done so yet. Please note you must be registered in Fall and have no holds on your account for the MHRC to be activated.

2013/14 Graduate Student Workshops

The Faculty of Graduate Studies, in collaboration with various academic and student support units both on and off Campus, have launched the second annual series of Professional Development workshops. These not-for-credit workshops are designed to help graduate students navigate their programs and prepare them to transfer their skills and knowledge into the workplace.

Revisiting Quality Research

The University of Manitoba Research Quality Management (RQM) Office invites you to attend an informal lunch hour presentation entitled “Revisiting Quality Research”.  The presentation will include an overview of the Research Quality Management (RQM) program and a review of research educational resources available through the University of Manitoba.

Note-Takers Needed

Student Accessibility Services is hiring Computerized note-takers for the academic year. They are looking for fast typists (80 wpm or higher) to take verbatim notes during classes. 

Hours of work would likely be Tues/Thurs 11-3, however there are a variety of shifts available. Starting rate of pay is $15/hour.
