Good morning Awards Contacts:
The deadline for the Governor General's Gold Medal nominations to be
submitted to the Faculty of Graduate Studies is coming up on APRIL
1st. Please view the award details here
and contact me if you have any questions. I will be making
arrangements to have an advertisement sent out to students and
subsequently to you later today. Each Faculty/Unit may nominate ONE
Master's or Doctoral student for the Governor General's Gold Medal.
You may wish to announce to faculty/students that you have your own
internal deadline by which nominations must be submitted in order that
your own review committee has time to assess and then choose the top
candidate to forward to FGS.
Please ensure that all deans and directors are notified of this award
and its' upcoming deadline.
