Thank you for the corrections. I thought I removed the panelists language but I guess I copied an earlier edit.
I’m half way done with the multimodal paragraph and will add it soon.

I've made some further revisions to correct some claims that seem to
have been copied over from last year's proposal but which no longer
applied to the current proposal:
* The text claimed that the Organizing Committee was "geographically
diverse", but this is no longer true as we're all in North America now.
I fixed this by saying that it's the Organizing and Program Committees
together that are geographically diverse.
* The text claimed that our invited speakers connect NLP methods with
"established humor research outside the conference circuit", but one of
our speakers doesn't do humor research at all and the other one does
speak on the conference circuit. I reworded this to make it clearer
that the speakers aren't common on the NLP conference circuit, and that
they're involved in "the study and/or practice of humor".
* The text claimed that "half our invited panelists and PC members are
women", but we have no panelists, and (at least with my trimmed PC list)
less than half were women. I changed "invited panelists" to "proposed
invited speakers" and replaced some names in the PC list so that 15 of
30 are women.
* The text claimed that we've already sent out invitations to the PC
members, but IIRC we haven't yet, so I changed this to "have been or
will be invited".
Regards,
Tristan
