Hello Everyone!

We hope everyone has had a great start to the new school year!

On behalf of the University of Alberta OTPDC Spirit committee, we are excited to invite you to participate in the 2025 g'OT Spirit Challenge! We hope you are all excited to share in the diversity and community of the OT profession and showcase your program's creativity.

Attached to this email, you will find documents outlining the details of the challenge, however, you can read the most important details below.

1. The theme of this year's challenge is "OT Here, There, and Everywhere". As you all know, OT is a broad and diverse profession, we can't wait to see how this translates for each program.
2. Each video submission should be around 2-5 minutes in length and are due on Saturday October 18th at 12 PM MST
3. Video submissions will be sent by email to aebenson@ualberta.ca. Please include "g'OT Spirit Challenge and the name of your school in the subject line.
4. We will upload video submissions to the g'OT Spirit Facebook page (which can be found here)
5. ) on October 19th at 12 PM MST. Voting will be open from October 19-26th. Voting will close at 11:59 PM on the 26th.
6. Winners will be announced on October 27th (World OT Day!) based on which post receives the most likes. Only likes on the original video on the g'OT spirit page will count.
7. The prize money will go to the school's charity of choice.

We can't wait to celebrate the spirit of OT month with you all! We are beyond excited to see what each program comes up with this year!
