Dear colleagues,

 

We are pleased to share a new opportunity for University of Manitoba students launching this Fall through Extended Education: the Micro-certificate in Applied Innovation: From Ideas to Impact.

 

The program is designed for students from all disciplines and levels of education who are interested in developing practical skills to turn ideas into action, collaborate across disciplines, and gain experience they can apply beyond the classroom.

 

Through three sequential courses, students will complete a 72-hour program and earn two digital badges and a University of Manitoba micro-certificate to add to their resume and LinkedIn profile. The program is offered in a blended format, combining online and in-person learning.

 

The first course, Foundations in Applied Innovation (EEAS 0168), begins in October 2026, and students can apply now.

 

We would appreciate your help in promoting this opportunity within your Faculty and sharing it with students who may be interested. It may be particularly relevant to students looking to complement their academic studies with practical, interdisciplinary experience and an additional UM credential.
