Subject: PT-6100-Physiotools exercise tool

Good morning MPT1 class!

On September 29, there is a lab for PT_6100 called "Tx: Patient Education". During this split lab, you will be required to use Physiotools to prepare an exercise program handout. Physiotools is an online program for creating patient exercise handouts.

In the next few days, you will receive a message from the PhysiotoolsAdministrator (noreply@physiotools.com) informing you of a link to access Physiotools. Please make sure that you can access Physiotools BEFORE attending the lab on September 29.

Access to Physiotools will be useful to you throughout the MPT program as well as on clinical placements where you may be required to prepare patient education and exercise program handouts.

Please note that there are numerous online exercise prescription programs and apps that physiotherapists may use. Physiotools is just one example that our department has selected to use. Our Physiotools subscription allows instructors and students to use it for educational purposes and there is a watermark across each exercise sheet.

If you do not have access or require your password be reset, please email PTadmin@umanitoba.ca.

If you have any trouble with the process, please email myself at Moni.Fricke@umanitoba.ca.

Happy Friday!

Moni
