Whether you are a physiotherapy student or a seasoned professional, and regardless of your level of knowledge about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), we have developed
a series of webinars that might interest you! This series of four free webinars is designed as an introduction for those wishing to begin integrating EDI into their physiotherapy practice but also includes more advanced elements for professionals already familiar
with DEI. We will touch on subjects such as power dynamics and positionality, ableism and medical racism and weight stigma.
The first webinar, "An introduction to power and positionality in physiotherapy," presented by Dr. Stephanie Nixon, will
be held virtually on June 8, 2026, at 5 PM Pacific Time. This free 90-minute webinar will be presented in English with live French subtitles.
