Good afternoon BRT Year 1 Students.

 

Welcome to Year 1 of the BRT program! We hope you are all doing well and enjoying your summer.

 

Please continue reading for important information and reminders.

 

  1. UM Student ID Cards – If you do not already have a student ID card, please ensure that you get one prior to your first day on campus. ID cards will be collected and coded for campus access and returned to you once activated. Information on how to get an ID is found here.
  2. RT1 Meet & Greet with RT Department Head, Faculty, and Staff – a calendar invitation was sent to your MyUmanitoba email for the September 2, 2025 Year 1 Meet & Greet in R160 from 10:00am-10:30am (Please note, orientations are mandatory attendance).
  3. RT1 Orientation & Tour – a calendar invite was sent to your MyUmanitoba email for the September 2, 2025 Year 1 Orientation & Tour in R160 from 10:30am-12:00pm (Please note, orientations are mandatory attendance).
  4. CoRS Student Association Orientation & Welcome Lunch – a calendar invite was sent to your MyUmanitoba email for the September 3, 2025 CoRS-SA Orientation and the Welcome Lunch in the Brodie Atrium from 11:30am-1:00pm (Please note Orientations are mandatory attendance).
  5. RT1 Timetable – Your timetable is posted in UM Learn in the ‘RT Timetables’ course.
  6. BRT Program Information – additional important information can be found on UM Learn in the ‘Respiratory Therapy Program Information’ course. Please note, additional information will be added to this course as the start of Fall term approaches.
