Hello RT1 Students,

During the week of June 29^th-July 3^rd, 2026 : You will be required to apply for and submit a copy of the purchase receipt after applying for your annual Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector. ***Please do not apply any earlier than these dates*** Send to CoRS.RTplacements@umanitoba.ca

On or before August 15^th, 2026: You will be required to send the results to: CoRS.RTplacements@umanitoba.ca

Students should make and retain a copy of all documents before submitting to the College of Rehabilitation Sciences.

An official adult Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector can be obtained from the following:

• Winnipeg Applicants can obtain an application at: https://www.winnipeg.ca/police/pr/pic.stm

• Out of Winnipeg/province applicants can apply though their home jurisdictions: RCMP

• International applicants will be required to obtain a Criminal Record check from both the RCMP and their home country.

• Allow up to 4-6 weeks for processing.

• Any previous Criminal Record Search obtained for work or volunteer purposes will not be accepted as they do not align with the BRT processing.

All results are to be submitted on or before the due date provided. Failure to submit these documents by the deadline will result in course registration being put on hold until results are received.
