Dear Class of 2028,
I realize that with the completion of your last exam this morning that you will be in a well-deserved celebratory mood. I regret however that I have some sad news to pass on to your class. Unfortunately your MDA mentorship program lead
mentor, Dr. David Goertz (class of 1992), passed away over the weekend. Dr. Goertz was a well-respected alumnus of our program and contributed to organized dentistry in Manitoba in many ways including as a board member and former president of the Manitoba
Dental Association. He will be missed by the dental community.
For your information, I am passing along a link to his obituary which includes information on the Celebration of Life that will be held next Tuesday, May 20th. Please feel free to reach out to any of us if needed.
