Hello Dent 1,

I am looking forward to the interprofessional education (IPE) session this Friday, January 23rd, from 3-5 PM. We will be starting promptly at 3 PM. Please ensure you are seated with your IPE teammates. We have kept you with the same teammates as for the September 19th, 2025 IPE session. The session is embedded in DENT 1202 Early Clinical Experiences. Attendance is mandatory and will be shared with your course coordinator.

The planning team for this IPE session is excited to partner again with Shared Health and the George and Fay Yee Center for Healthcare Innovation. We are using the same format as for September 19th, 2025. Your team will hear two lived experiences from patient/family advisors, different than the people who shared their stories in September. Your team will huddle to prepare questions for the presenters. Huddling is a common means of communicating amongst team members, and hence, we are using the strategy to simulate team function.

Here is your team number and room assignment:

I acknowledge that the University of Manitoba campuses are located on original lands of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation. I respect the treaties made on these territories.I acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past and present. With a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration, I move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities. In all my actions, I am grounded in salutogenesis and aim to contribute to health creation within places and settings where people live, learn, play, work, and love.
