Get ready for the Bisons Block Party during Homecoming 2025
|
|
|
|
Family Centre is collaborating with the Fort Garry campus to represent RFHS and Family Centre at the first-ever Bisons Block Party set for September 20, with free events for alumni, students, families
and the broader community.
|
|
|
|
The herd is gathering! Mark your calendars for the first-ever Bisons Block Party on campus at Princess Auto Stadium on September 20.
This free, all-ages event runs on the concourse from 12 PM to 5 PM and brings alumni, staff, students, families and friends together for an afternoon of fun and celebration.
Tickets for the Bisons Homecoming Football game will give you access to all the Bisons Block Party activities. Registration is free and
available through Ticketmaster. For
groups of 10 or more, please register
here.
Tickets for the Homecoming Bisons Soccer games are available on Ticketmaster.
Tickets for the Homecoming Concert are free and available through Showpass.

Rady kids' club
The Family Centre is pleased to share the new 2025/2026 dates for Rady kids’ club, a free service for children of students at the Bannatyne
campus.

|
|
Who can participate? Children aged four to 12 years old are welcome to attend. Please note that all participants must be fully
independent in using the bathroom.
Trained childminders - Our childminders are dedicated UM students who have undergone thorough Criminal Record and Child Abuse
Registry checks.
Snacks included - We will ensure your little ones are well-nourished and happy during their time with us by providing healthy
snacks.

To access these free products, simply visit the Family Centre during our operating hours. Our staff will be happy to assist you.

We believe that no learner should have to worry about accessing essential products for themselves or their families. By providing these resources for free, we're helping to break down barriers and promote
equality and inclusivity.

We offer a private and quiet child feeding room at 290A Brodie Centre. The child feeding room is equipped with a sink, fridge, microwave, change station, couch, table and toiletries for baby and parent.
This space is available to all staff, faculty and learners who would like to pump, breastfeed, chest feed or bottle feed. To gain access to this space, email FamilyCentre@umanitoba.ca with
your name, department and employee or student number.
*If you need help locating suitable nursing space in a clinical placement site, please contact the Family Centre and we will work with the facility to provide an appropriate space.
