Colleagues - congrats to all who've successfully filled their residency positions!

Wanted to share an opportunity with my organization.  The Valleywise Health Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program has available positions for this upcoming year.  We are a Teaching Health Center/FQHC, and our residents rotate through multiple sites as well as provide care in our teaching hospital, Valleywise Health Medical Center.  

Valleywise Health is the safety-net healthcare system for Maricopa County, which encompasses the greater Phoenix area in Arizona.  We are home to 300+ days of sunshine yearly, and are one of the fastest growing counties in the country!

The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine is now accepting applications for its Geriatric Dental Medicine Fellowship, a full-time, 12-month graduate program that prepares dentists in a multidisciplinary setting to improve the healthcare of medically complex and vulnerable older adults. Training begins around July 1, 2026 and utilizes a combination of didactic learning, clinical education and teaching, and community-based experiential learning.

For the current admissions cycle consideration (2026-2027 training period), please request an application by sending an email to Ms. Amy Schmidt at amy.s.schmidt@cuanschutz.edu.

Please note the following important dates:

Application deadline is Friday, February 13, 2026.

Interviews for selected applicants will begin the week of February 23th, 2026.

Last month an email was sent out after the launch of the new ADEA Connect platform about checking your spam folders.  Since the vendor was changed for ADEA Connect, the new emails may not be recognized by your institution or organization's email system.  As a result, your emails may have ended up in your spam/junk folder or some other tool you use for checking spam, e.g. ProofPoint, etc.

You should add the new domain - @connect.adea.org - to your contacts or safe senders list. For specific instructions, please refer to this article.

If you have any questions or issues with ADEA Connect, do not hesitate to reach out directly to Carolyn Vincent, VincentC@adea.org or submit this form.  Although we will try to address any issues as quickly as possible, some issues may require more detailed intervention by the vendor.
