To my dearest Class of 2026,

I wanted to send a heartfelt thank-you to all of you. I recently found out that you selected me for the teaching award, and I am truly honoured and deeply touched. Although I wasn’t able to attend the ceremony, receiving this award from you truly touched my heart.

You will always be a very special class to me. You were my first undergraduate dentistry group, and you made that experience unforgettable. Thank you for being so kind, encouraging, and open with me as I found my footing teaching in the program. Your support and positivity meant more than you know, and you gave me a wonderful start that I will always carry with me.

I will keep each of you in my heart, and I’m so proud of the clinicians you are becoming. It has been an honour to be part of your journey, and I’m genuinely flattered that you chose to recognize me.
