On Thursday, January 12, COMSOL will give a free webinar on "Parameter Estimation Using the Optimization Module." Details and registration are available below.

The Optimization Module may be used in order to determine input parameters in a model so that the output of the model matches experimental data. This type of problem is referred to as parameter estimation and is one of the most challenging optimization problems to solve. The Optimization Module may be used for parameter estimation for stationary, time-dependent, and space-dependent parameter values.

In this webinar, you will get an overview of the parameter estimation capabilities in the Optimization Module. Through a live demonstration, you will also learn how to define and solve these problems. You can ask questions throughout the webinar or at the end during the Q&A session
