The Department of Economics at Saint Mary’s University invites applications for a tenure track appointment at the Assistant Professor rank. Fields of interest include applied microeconomics, applied macroeconomics,
economic development, and international trade and finance. Candidates with a demonstrated record in public policy-oriented research and teaching in these fields are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have completed, or be near completion
of, a PhD in economics, and have excellent qualifications for research and teaching in our graduate and undergraduate programs. The appointment will commence July 1, 2014.

Atlantic provinces. The Sobey School of Business offers AACSB accredited degrees at the undergraduate, masters and PhD levels. The Department of Economics consists of 12 full-time faculty members who deliver core courses to the Undergraduate and Graduate programs
