Dear students,

An exciting new opportunity is coming this fall – our Neuroaffirming Cohort!

The Neuroaffirming Cohort is a unique professional learning and mentorship experience, designed to help future teachers develop and strengthen their neuroinclusive teaching practices in practicum and for the K-12 classroom. Participation is limited to only 75 Bachelor of Education students, and spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

Why Apply?

Neuroaffirming Cohort students will receive:

· A $1,000 scholarship to use for classroom teaching materials

· Specialised professional learning focused on neurodiversity and neuroinclusive educational practices

· Collaborative group work and mentorship throughout practicum and workshops

· A Certificate of Completion recognising focused professional learning in neuroinclusion.

  

Be Ready Before Applications Open!

Online Applications open Wednesday, September 2 at 12:00 a.m. (midnight Central Time). The first 75 eligible students who apply and successfully accept their scholarship offer through UM Careers will be admitted to the cohort.
