Before You Apply

To be eligible for the scholarship, you must have a UM Careers account. Please create your UM Careers account before the application opens, as you will not be able to complete the process without one.

After You Submit Your Application

Your application will be reviewed. If you are eligible to move forward, you will receive an email from Adwoa Amponsah amponsa2@myumanitoba.ca (Graduate Project Assistant) with the subject line:

"Neuroaffirming Cohort – Please Respond"

This email will ask you to complete the following two steps:

Scholarship Award Process

Once you have:

eligible applicants will receive a scholarship offer through UM Careers on a first come-first serve basis.

Important: Please check your UM Careers Account regularly to accept the scholarship offer immediately. Any scholarship offer that is not accepted by September 13 at 11:59 p.m. will be rescinded and offered to the next eligible student.
