Dear MAHN students,

As we prepare for the upcoming December experiential learning week, please review the following important details carefully:

• For the PACA workshop, if applicable, please ensure you complete the pre-workshop form, especially if you require any special accommodations.
• For all independent study times, this time is to be used independently, however, room 304-5 HE will be available for individual or group study. Please note that all sessions outside of independent study time are mandatory to attend.
• The DC Critical Care course may take up to 20 hours to complete. Carefully review each section before attempting the exam and take notes. You must achieve at least 80% to pass, and you will have two attempts. If unsuccessful after two attempts, you will be required to retake and cover the cost of an additional attempt. Prior students have found this course challenging, so please ensure you leave sufficient time for preparation.
• For the enteral and parenteral nutrition sessions, review the EN/TPN sections of the WRHA Clinical Handbook. You will not be quizzed on this.
• For those attending the RRC Oncology workshop, come prepared and review the sub-module 6 listed under the reading list, each MAHN student will be paired with 2 nursing students to complete the case study. As well, please provide your license plate number to MAHN.info by Monday, Dec 16^th to arrange parking.  

Attendance at all ELW sessions is mandatory. If you are unable to attend due to a valid reason, you must follow the missed practicum day policy and procedures as outlined on the MAHN Handbook.
