“Food Product Development Proposal – [Team Name]”
Your proposal should outline your
innovative food product idea based on the guidelines attached to this email!

This challenge is your chance to
bring your innovative food ideas to life! Whether it’s a nutrient-packed snack, a futuristic meal, or a sustainable twist on a classic favorite, this is
your moment to show off your creativity and knowledge in food science and human nutrition!

Think it. Create it. Taste it! Develop a
new food product using science, innovation, and teamwork.

Showcase your skills—from formulation and nutritional benefits to packaging and marketing strategy!

Compete for awesome prizes for first ($800), second ($600), and third ($400) places while having a blast with your fellow food innovators!
Forming Your Team 🏆
Each team must have three to four members, with the following composition:

Minimum one student from Food Science and Human Nutritional Science
✅ Remaining students can be from
any department of the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences (Food Science, Human Nutritional Sciences, Applied Human Nutrition (MAHN), Agribusiness & Agricultural Economics, Animal Science, Biosystems Engineering, Entomology, Plant Science, Soil
Science)

Final event: A high-energy showdown where each team will present a 20-minute business proposal and their innovative
masterpiece in front of expert judges to test!
