Falling Walls Lab Manitoba will be hosted by the University of Manitoba on September 11, 2024. We are inviting applications until July 15, 2024. Please forward this email to potential applicants and to those who can share it further.

Falling Walls Lab is a global pitch competition uniting students and professionals with breakthrough ideas. Academic institutions worldwide host local competitions for cash prizes. Manitoba participants are given 3 minutes to present solutions to pressing challenges that relate to their research. First place winners from all over the world advance to the Berlin Finals on November 7, 2024. Additionally, they attend the Falling Walls Science Summit for some valuable networking.

We’re not just looking for STEM researchers. This year we want to encourage applicants from all disciplines to apply if they meet at least one of the following requirements:

Have received a Bachelor’s degree no more than 10 years ago
OR, have received a Master’s degree no more than 7 years ago
OR, have received a PhD no more than 5 years ago
OR, are currently enrolled in a university and/or are currently a postdoc
