Dear UM faculty and staff members,

My name is Francene Perehinec, the UM Family Resource Coordinator! My role is to provide support to the University community on family matters. “Family” is a diverse and inclusive network of loving bonds where relationships are built on more than just blood relations, living arrangements, or legal labels. I understand that handling work and family responsibilities is a balancing act, and I am here to help you as you navigate through different stages of life.

I will be hosting a monthly open house in my office at Room 319 of the Admin. Building (66 Chancellors Circle), every last Wednesday of each month and you are invited to come and visit! The UM Family Resources Open House is an opportunity to stop by and learn about the resources and services that may benefit you and your loved ones.

Upcoming dates for the open house:

Wednesday, December 20 from 12-1pm

Wednesday, January 31 from 12-1pm

Attached are copies of the open house poster highlighting all of the details as well as the Family Resources brochure as well as a flyer for our Santa on the Farm event with UM Family Resources and Bruce D. Campbell Farm & Food Discovery Centre in December (registration required) and you are invited to join in on the festivities!
