Supporting People Who Are Experiencing Declining Wellbeing or Crisis

Wednesday, March 6, 2024

This session will increase your skills and confidence in effectively supporting students and colleagues who are experiencing declining mental wellbeing.  We will discuss how to recognize signs and symptoms of mental health problems, including crisis, how to provide the initial support to the students in distress, and making effective referrals to both on-campus and community resources.  This interactive workshop will include exploration of case studies representative of common student, staff and faculty experiences.
