Hi everyone! 

During the month of November, we dedicate our time to fundraise and raise awareness for men’s mental health, suicide, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. The Charity Representatives are planning the annual Walkathon and Head Shave and Shine. 

There is a team set up on the Movember website, under “UOFM AGGIES!”, sign up and join our team. Run, walk or exercise 60km for the month of November, for the 60 men we lose to suicide every hour across the world. Donations can be made on the website through the whole month of November. 

Head Shave and Shine will be held on November 30th at 12-2pm in the Ag Atrium to raise money for Movember. 

To sign up, DM the FASO Instagram page, or email us at fundraiser@uofmaggies.ca, and let us know what you will shave and a target goal of the price you will shave your head/donate your hair at. For longer hair, you can donate a minimum of 8 inches of unprocessed hair. You can donate in person with cash at the event, there will be lunch available for purchase. All proceeds will be donated to Movember. There will also be a prize for our mustache contest between the professors and students, so come down and help raise awareness for Movember! We hope to see everyone there!
