Dear colleagues, We are excited to announce the launch of the Emerging Researcher Spotlight Series, a six-part symposium designed to provide valuable insights into new and developing areas of research inquiry at the University of Manitoba. This series is dedicated to supporting early and mid-career researchers, offering them new resources and networking opportunities in 2024. Details for Session #1 are as follows: Date: Thursday, February 1, 2024 Time: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm Venue: Multi-Purpose Room, UMSU University Centre, Fort Garry Campus

Symposium Highlights: Presentations by researchers in the early and mid-stages of their professional research journey, addressing important topics across a wide range of disciplines and faculties. Hosted by the Vice-President (Research and International) Office, each event will include presentations from five or more emerging experts as well as opportunities for networking and cross-departmental collaboration. We believe that the Emerging Researcher Spotlight Series will significantly contribute to the growth and collaboration within our academic community.
