Author of the amazing book A Long Way Gone, Ishmael Beah is coming to Winnipeg to speak on March 18, 2008. JSA/Hillel, Hand in Hand For Peace and SHOUT are having a fundraiser – social at the West End Cultural Centre. Three AMAZING BANDS will be playing, THE FREAKY CIRCLES, THE SOLUTIONS and THE JD EDWARDS BAND. Plus there will be some great prizes available at the silent auction!
Tickets are $10 for students- $15 for non-students and available at U of W Info Booth, U of M Answers, Kustom Kulture and McNally Robinson
