The webinar offers members of the SAR Canada network a better idea of the student advocacy initiatives established by Scholars at Risk. These initiatives allow researchers and students to partner with SAR and directly engage in advocacy on behalf of threatened scholars, all the while providing students with the opportunity to develop relevant skills in human rights research and advocacy strategies. During this webinar, you will learn more about two initiatives: the Academic Freedom Monitoring Project, and the Scholars in Prison Project.

Le webinaire offre aux membres du réseau SAR Canada une meilleure idée des initiatives étudiantes de plaidoyer développées par Scholars at Risk. Ces initiatives permettent aux chercheur.e.s et aux étudiant.e.s de s'associer à SAR et de s'engager directement dans la défense des intérêts d’universitaires menacé.e.s, tout en donnant aux étudiant.e.s l'occasion d'acquérir des compétences pertinentes en matière de recherche sur les droits de la personne et de stratégies de plaidoyer.
