Dear colleagues,
I hope winter is treating you well so far. I am writing to share a job opportunity from the
Pozen Family Center for Human Rights, Director of Human Rights Practice position,
that could be of interest to you and/or your associates. I would also mention that the deadline to apply for the
Gordon F. Henderson Post-doctoral Fellow (2018-2019) hosted by our Centre is March 15th. Please share these announcements widely.
On another note, John Packer and I are planning to attend the
conference RightsCon in Toronto (May 16-18) and we were wondering if this could be an opportunity to hold a group meeting if some of you are planning to go? Happy to discuss with those interested.
Best wishes,
Viviana

Sent on behalf of Mark Bradley:
Dear John,
It is with great enthusiasm that we invite applications for the Pozen Center’s new Director of Human Rights Practice

real world human rights problems.
The responsibilities of the Director of Human Rights Practice include:
·
working on a specific human rights problem through the development of a curriculum in human rights practice, including the teaching of two small clinic style courses
per year of your own design;
·
organizing and overseeing short term practitioner residencies related to the work of the Laboratory;
·
establishing new linkages between the Pozen Center and civil society and government-supported human rights entities globally, nationally and locally;
·
ensuring the Laboratory-based project has impact in its field beyond the university; and assisting in the operation of the Pozen Center’s current human rights internship
program.
