The province is looking for Anesthesia representatives to attend sessions provided by the EPR vendor, Altera.  Surgery and Anesthesia specific informations sessions will be held in early November.  Let me know if you are willing to represent our department.

Good evening, Dr. Govender – Altera is planning on delivering some provider-focused sessions for Surgery and Anesthesia in early November.  I will shortly be sending out some information about the sessions and will solicit feedback on a best possible time(s) for providers.

 

Could you suggest a few Anesthesia providers that you feel should attend.  It would be great if it could include both urban and rural settings.

PS – In relation to the guidelines for order sets, if you are interested in what the EPR Standardization Order Set Working Group has developed, I can ask one of the chairs to review with you (Carol Davis from pharmacy has been instrumental in their development).
