Hello Anesthesia Colleagues,

As part of recruiting more Pediatric Anesthesia faculty, Dr. Seena Solomon started a Practice Ready Assessment on November 13th in Children’s Hospital.  Dr. Solomon completed her anesthesia training in Bengaluru, India and has been in London Ontario as a clinical fellow in Adult Acute Pain (March 2023 to March 2024) and Pediatric Anesthesia (March 2024 to present).  She is eligible to write the Royal College exam due to her training time in Canada.

This three-month assessment is an opportunity for us to determine if she is a competent colleague.  She will be doing 1 month of pediatric anesthesia, one month of adult anesthesia at HSC and one month of adult anesthesia at Concordia.  If successful, she will be offered a primary appointment at Children’s hospital with a fraction at Concordia.

She is starting at HSC today for two weeks and will be doing an additional two weeks at the end of December.
