Good evening,

 

Please be aware that this shutdown is the same day as the Manitoba Marathon and access to the University will be closed by 6:30am.

If you are required to be on site for this shutdown, you will need to request an access pass. Egress would be via King’s Dr as well.  Once on site, it will not be possible leave the site until after 11:00 AM once all participants are off the 5K course.   

University Cres & Chancellor will remain closed until 1pm. 

 

Private security control this intersection and I’ve confirmed that will be looking for the access pass.  While you don’t need it to park, it gives you access to the campus.  We will notify security to expect you to arrive between 5:30 AM – 6:30 AM.   You’re able to drive on the closure lines for the purposes of accessing University Centre. 

 

If you will require a pass, we need to request this by Monday, June 1st, 2026 at 8:30AM

On Sunday, June 21/26 from 6am -6pm all power, ventilation and fire alarms will be off to many areas in the building. No occupancy will be allowed during this time and building will be closed and secured by Security Services. Please power down any equipment that may be affected by this power outage.
