Notification:

On Sunday November 30^th from 8am until 10pm contractors for the Prairie Biologics Accelerator new building being constructed on Parking Lot A will need to take the temporary generator power offline to relocate the generator.

The main risk when removing the temporary generator from the trailers is that it will need to be disconnected from the existing power source. During this time, if a power failure occurs, there will be no backup power available for the Allen, Parker, Wallace, Duff, and Buller buildings.

The outage period would last for the duration it takes the contractor to disconnect the cables, lift the generator equipment off the trailers, place it on the ground, reconnect the cables, and test the system. This process is expected to take approximately 5 to 10 hours, during which backup power will not be available.
